Doctor Who - Revenge of the Cybermen. The very first Doctor Who video issued by the BBC back in 1983. Unlike later releases, this was issued in an oversized cardboard & plastic box. This issue was so early in the UK home video era that it is pre-certification.

This release was infamous for using the wrong version of the show's logo, the wrong version of the Cybermen and a much later photo of Tom Baker on the cover! This edition is very scare and those that do turn up from time to time are normally. Ex-rental copies showing considerable wear / damage. This is not one of them - it's near pristine, with only minor signs of use.

The plastic on the case is starting to become brittle due to age but is still all complete. The cassette itself looks virtually like new.

I have not played the tape fully through from end to end, but it fast forwards & rewinds without any nasty. I did pick a few random places to take screenshots on my camera and the tape plays perfectly, not even any dropouts - amazing for a VHS cassette nearly 40 years old!
