Leak 2030 speakers, vintage 1970's, excellent sound & condition, all original

  

Excellent pair of LEAK 2030 speakers, c. 1972 - owned by my dad from new and never moved from the lounge so no woofer problems due to corrosion, which can be a problem with these if kept in damp conditions. No rubbers to rot either. These have worked without fault ever since he bought them as part of his classic Pioneer PL12D/SX 434 stereo. Sensible reserve set these would cost a fortune today, and no foam surrounds to perish, excellent condition, built like tanks - 11kg each!

They have never been modified or needed any repairs - so in totally original condition, working perfectly and in excellent physical condition. They have a couple of minor scratches and corner bumps, but not very noticeable - please look at the pictures. Din and screw terminals on the back. 11" x 10" x 19 3/4 [w/d/h] - 280mm x 255mm x 505mm. Some reviews say these need big amps, but I've never found that: my dad used the 15w SX434 receiver, and I've been using my Sansui G301. They easily fill a large lounge with warm, detailed sound at about 1/4 volume. These are probably the best 2030s you'll find. Come and have a listen if you're local.
