Vintage Napier Cocktail Shaker & Jigger Mechanical Spoon In Excellent Condition

  

Here is an awesome pair of Napier Barware items. The Dial A Drink Cocktail Shaker is in great condition and has 15 recipes on it.

They are as follows: Alexander, Bacardi, Between The Sheets, Bronx, Clover Club, Dry Martini, Dubonnet, Gin Ricky, Manhattan, Old Fashion, Orange Blossom, Palm Beach, Side Car, Tom Collins, and Whiskey Sour. You turn the outer sleeve to reveal each recipe in the cut out windows. I'm grading the shaker to be in excellent condition. If you know Napier, most are very worn and dented, with the insides dirty and corroded. It does have a few minor tarnish spots and imperfections.

But overall it is in amazing condition for it's age! The outer sleeve rotates smoothly. The inner sleeve is in excellent condition also, with minimal wear. The cover and cap are in excellent condition also. The insides are very clean! Also, there is a Napier mechanical cocktail jigger spoon which also is in excellent condition. It holds two ounces and is marked on the side in 1/2 ounce, 1 ounce, 1 1/2 ounce, and 2 ounce increments. The silverplating is in excellent condition, with only minor tarnish spots from use. The insides are extremely clean! There is a plunger that releases the fluid once you press down on the spoon. The Dial A Drink shaker is 4" wide x 11" tall. The mechanical spoon is 2" wide x 9 1/2" long.

The Dial A Drink shaker is marked NAPIER U. So, this is one of the first ones made.

The Jigger spoon is marked NAPIER PAT. So, it to is one of the first ones made. These make such a great pair.
