Vintage Universal Geneve Polerouter Black Dial Excellent Original Condition

  

From my personal collection is a Universal Geneve - Gerald Genta designed - Polerouter Date from 1965. It is in excellent all original condition, original dial, signed crown etc. It is in fantastic shape, with a gorgeous and rare unfinished / unrestored gloss black dial, nicely aging hour markers, original hands, case and case back.

Not much to report here other than the case has been polished and thats evident on the lugs / case back - with scuffs and marks congruent with age. Please see all pictures - they are part of the description.

A true gem, this feels great on the wrist and was serviced within the last two years. It keeps fantastic time and really pops on a new Italian leather strap.

This is 35mm case - 38m with crown. This is the micro-rotor version and an Automatic. Watch is as pictured - and will come in a new black (orange lined) travel case.

The watch also had a full service and overhaul within the last two years - via the previous owner. The watches time keeping and mechanical accuracy are evidence of this.
