Carlton Ware _Embossed Ware "Anemone" large Pitcher/Jug. It is a very popular pattern with collectors of this type of Carlton Ware, yet very seldom seen on the market; even less so in this shape and size. This is a beautiful example of this pattern #8054 and shape #975. The colours are bright and clean. Condition is excellent; with no chips, cracks, crazing nor staining; and no signs of restoration or repair. The only very minor flaw is a tiny 1-2mm scratch on a petal of the purple flower, close to the base (see pic 6) which is barely noticeable when on display.

This pitcher is the second of 3 sizes produced by Carlton Ware, in this pattern. It stands 32cms tall x 14cms at widest point. Weight is approximately 1.2kg.
