Commodore PET 2001-8 With Original Box, Vintage Computer in Excellent Condition. The computer boots and shows the correct amount of memory 7167k. This was bought from the original owners daughter who found it stored under the stairs. Its in fantastic condition with only very minor marks to the case and no corrosion inside. I believe this system was imported privately from America when new and had its transformer replaced with a 240V transformer and its back badge removed, probably as it showed the incorrect voltage.

The screen is sharp bright, has no sign of burn and comes on quickly. Keyboard is in excellent condition no discolouring of the keys and all the keys work perfectly, from the feel of it it has had very little use.

PCB is very clean and has its original ROM set, Its had the Video Memory and Ram socketed at some point for repair purposes. Decal is the nice moulded plastic badge rather than the stick on label. It also comes with its Data Cassette Player which works and is clean with a few scratches. Box and polystyrene inserts are in good condition for the age 40 Years old!!! But they do have signs of wear and stapling & having been re-taped, box has had a label removed at some point.

This will make an amazing addition to someones collection or a very nice showpiece. Please look carefully at the photos as what you see is what you will receive. I've been asked several times why I list my equipment as spares or repair this is nothing to do with if they work or not, its to do with the fact that old electronics are like vintage cars they work perfectly for years then one day they don't! All my descriptions are accurate and I do my best to describe any issues that I find. I always say if something is known faulty.

Dispatched with DHL extremely well packaged with new packaging materials with lots of padding. I will pack the system in its original box then this will be packed in an outer box to protect it as much as. Please feel free to collect in person, sorry but door step hand over due to the plague.
