KEF LS50 LS 50 loudspeakers speakers excellent condition original box & packing

  

For sale here is a pair of the highly-respected KEF LS50 loudspeakers in piano black finish (please note the front "baffle" is matte black, as pictured). These were created as a special design in celebration of the company's 50th anniversary, and were intended to provide a "modern answer" to the legendary BBC LS3/5A (which had extensive input from KEF and utilised their drive units). The speakers feature KEF's unique "Uni-Q" concentric drivers in a highly-engineered and beautifully-finished design; there are lots of reviews of these excellent speakers on-line and in magazines -- please refer to these for details.

The units on offer here are in good used condition, as pictured, with no marks or blemishes to the external lacquer finish, and have had only light domestic use only since I bought them from new. Definitely no student parties or high-level thrashing!

These are remarkably heavy (about 7.2kg each) and the total packed weight will therefore be about 18.6kg. I know cheaper services are available but I don't believe it's worth the risk of sending a high-value, heavy and fragile item such as this via a low cost courier I've seen what one widely-used company can do to a heavy box! But please, no "tyre-kickers" who think they can turn up and then offer a suddenly-reduced amount -- nor any other kind of time wasters! Cash or bank transfer on collection is however much preferred, please, if collecting.
