Ortofon SMG 212 Stereo Tonearm with Original Template 1960s Excellent Condition

  

Beautiful, classic Ortofon SMG 212 Stereo Tonearm (serial number 21563) in all original, fully working condition. Comes with original mounting template. Made in the 1960s, so obviously used, but in excellent condition.

Visually, it looks beautiful, although there are some pitting on the headshell locking ring and some scratches on the tonearm base (see photos 9 and 10). The counterweight and dial look almost new. Functionally, the arm has been fully tested with an Ortofon SPU G/T (not included in this sale).

Everything works as it should, and it sounds great. The bearing of the tonearm moves freely and smoothly without any friction, and it's the same with the counterweight. Please note that the wood blocks shown in the photos are NOT part of this sale.
