Vintage G. F. Filley No 2 Cast Iron Hexagon Gem Pan Excellent Restored Condition

  

Filley No 2 cast iron gem backing pan from the late 1890s and it is in excellent restored condition. These are very hard to located especially in this condition.

Fully restored back to like new condition and. No chips, cracks or repairs. Item was stripped down to bare metal using collector approved lye bath and electrolysis treatments. This process ensures the removal all residue from previous use making it safe to use once more. Item is lightly seasoned with one round of Crisco at 450 for 1 hours.

This item were photographed in very bright light to highlight fine details. Under these lighting conditions, item will take on a brown color. Items are much darker under normal light.
