Vintage Heuer Stopwatch, in original box, fully working in Excellent Condition

  

Vintage Heuer Stopwatch, in original box, fully working in Excellent Condition - circa 1970's. This item is from my late father-in-Laws collection, and has had little use hence the condition. It was Manufactured by HEUER - LEONIDAS SA and made in Switzerland.

The Stopwatch has a 30min timer shown on the inner dial while the outer dial shows a full sweep of 60 seconds each second subdivided into 0.2 second increments. I guess that if it is stopped between increments then it will show 0.1 seconds. The Watch is mechanical and is wound by a knurled knob at the top. The watch is actuated by pressing this knob once to start, a second time to stop and a third time to flip back all dials to zero. The Watch is circa 5 cms diameter.

There are no dents or scratches to the main body. The front Crystal Glass is clear and has no cracks or damage. There are some minor signs of wear on very close inspection. The front Bezel has no damage.

The back is in good order but does have a small number of very minor chips to the paint around the outer edge (see photos). The inner tray of the box is in good order. The original outer box is in good structural order but does show signs of wear particularly along the edges and back. I guess that it has done its job in protecting the watch for some 50 years or so.

I have checked the accuracy of the watch against an internet clock and it seems to be spot on. This is from the early 1970's and has always been boxed.
