Vintage King Cleveland 600 Trumpet, 1960, Excellent Condition w Original Lacquer

  

Vintage King Cleveland 600 Trumpet, in great shape. Serial # 281859 puts this at around 1960, based on what I could find.

The original lacquer is 99% intact. This horn is beautiful, and would be a great starter trumpet for someone. I acquired it a year or so ago, and I doubt it was played much over the years. I could not find a similar Cleveland 600 listed in this good condition.

If you want a nice-looking horn, this is it. The only condition issues are a couple very small spots with corrosion, one of which is where a small dent was on the bell, which I had fixed by Meridian Winds in Lansing, MI (See pic of invoice). The valve stems have some spots on them which does not affect playing at all. And some very light scratches and scuffing along the bell near the valve block.

There's a very small, shallow dent in the pipe going into the third valve. Lastly, the third valve slide ring is slightly misshapen, but works as intended. The third valve slide moves, but not as smoothly as I would prefer.

Original 7M mouthpiece included, which is in excellent condition. This horn includes a like-new basic case, as well. Meridian Winds fixed the stuck slides, and the one dent in the bell, where some corrosion remains from the dent. Feel free to ask questions, or if you'd like more pics!
