Vintage Mod TNT Barbie Doll Sun Kissed Platinum Blonde Excellent Condition

  

This listing is for a vintage mod TNT Barbie doll by Mattel. I think she was released in 1968.

I believe her hair color is called Sun Kissed Platinum Blonde. She comes with her original three-piece swimsuit. The elastic on the bottoms is stretched out, but otherwise it's in excellent condition.

The outer netting still feels crisp. I'm not a Barbie expert, so please bear with me. I will describe what I see, and feel free to ask any questions. She is in original condition with gorgeous platinum blonde hair and untouched makeup.

Her hair seems a little on the thin side, but I don't see any missing hair plugs. The length is uneven on the bottom, but I don't think it has been cut. The hair texture doesn't feel as silky as some of the other colors I've seen, but I think this was common with the platinum blondes. The original rubber band disintegrated so her hair was retied with some string.

I believe the orange bow is original. Her eyelashes are long and full. However, her right leg seems a little swingy and looser than the left leg. There are a couple of tiny dark spots on the backs of her thighs (see last two photos).

I'm not sure if these were from the mold, or a wire mechanism inside possibly? There are a couple of very slight indentations at the top of her feet, mostly the right.

Her skin has nice coloring overall, but i would say her head and arms are slightly darker than her torso. Her ears are not pierced.

She has some very light coral nail polish, but there are some chips in the paint. Overall she seems to be in excellent condition for her age.
